My name is Mike,
I have been a Naturist for well over 30 years. My claim to fame was appearing nude on stage in the west end show “Hair” in the early 70’s, but that’s another story.
I have Served in the Army (Grenadier Guards), Fire Brigade, Police and Ambulance services.
Apart from this I have had an extremely varied life, including Continental truck driver and hotel security at the Savoy, I also ran a few of my own businesses, heart transplant transportation and Airport courier service.
Although I prefer to be naked whenever possible, I do dress up when the need arises. I am a Drum Major in a Highland Pipe band and can be seen at public engagements at various locations around the UK and Europe.
I have been a naturist as long as I can remember. I joined the Diogenes Sun Club in the mid seventies and spent many happy days sunning myself there over the years. I reluctantly gave up my membership because I moved out to Spain to live. I now live close to Costa Natura in Estepona and I have constant use of the Naturist beach.
I always wanted to work in a Naturist environment but it has alluded me until now. I started Bare Tracks so that I could spend my working day naked! What more could a true Naturist ask for!
Over the years I hoped that Naturism would move forward and become recognised as a perfectly normal alternative way of life. But I have come to realise that it won’t come about in my lifetime! Never the less, I have seen many changes over the years, but it seems that the general public at large are making as many changes as we Naturists are.
It doesn’t really matter who brings about these changes as long as there is change. So if we all do our bit to educate people then who knows what can be achieved. My dream would be to open a Naturist country retreat, catering for people who wanted to chill out for a few weeks in a truly naked environment.
I hope the future generations can be encouraged to embrace the wonders of naked living. Otherwise Naturism will die out with the passing of my generation.....
